Examples Of Types Of Flowers

Here are five examples of different types of flowers.

¨Sunflower¨

Sunflowers

Sunflowers are without a doubt, one of the most common flowers in the world. These flowers are very well loved by a lot of poeple, and is actually said to symbolize adoration, loyalty, and longevity. In fact, in buddhism, sunflowers are considered to be sacred, representing spiritual enlightenment. It´s not really a surprise why so many people like these flowers, they are beautiful. These beautiful flowers start to bloom during summer and into autumn.

¨Daisy¨

Daisies

Daisies are flowers that bloom from March to October, symbolizing purity, innocence, new beginnings, joy, and cheerfulness. Today, these modern-day flowers are distinguished from other plants that are also named daisies. And so, this species may sometimes be defined as common daisy, lawn daisy, or english daisy. In my opinion, daisies are amazing, but they aren´t the best.

¨Marigolds¨

Marigolds

Marigolds are flowers that bloom from early summer until hard frost in late fall, symbolizing, power, strength, and light. These flowers are linked to the strength of the sun, and can also symbolize despaired love, or if someone lost the person they love. I honestly don´t know much about marigolds but when I look at these flowers, they seem interesting, especially when you figure out what these flowers represent.

¨Iris¨

Irises

Irises are flowers that bloom from early spring to early summer, the three petals of an Iris meant to symbolize faith, valor, and wisdom. The name, ¨Iris¨, is a name that is used for all Iris species, and is known as the 25th wedding anniversary flower. If I´m going to be honest, I don´t really like Irises. I don´t really have any reasons to why I dislike this flower, I just don´t find this type of flower appealing.

¨Daisy¨

Dahlias

Dahlias are flowers that take eight week to start blooming, while in the U.S., dahlias usually begin blooming in July. Dahlias are meant to symbolize beauty, commitment, and kindness, also known as a symbol of betrayal. What a negative meaning for such a vibrant and lovely flower. In a way, it feels deceptive, like an illusion. Betrayal hurts a lot, especially if it´s by the ones you trust.

Here is my favorite flower.

¨Lily

Lily Of The Valley

Lily of the valley are one of my favorite flowers, considering how beautiful and pure they look. Lily of the valley flowers usually bloom from mid-spring to early summer. These special one-of-a-kind flowers represent joy, purity, love, sincerity, happiness, and luck. I know this sounds silly, but I feel like I can relate to this flower, and that´s why I love this flower. In my opinion, this flower is also cute. Definitely my favorite.
