I started playing softball for a rec team the summer of 2014, I was 8 years old and going into third grade. Ive played rec ball since rookies.
In summer of 2019 I went to try out for a travel team. I wanted to try out for a travel team because rec ball wont really get you anywhere and they ony teach you the basics. I also wanted to challenge myself a little more by playing on more than 1 team and pretty much having softball almost every night of the week, and practicing even when I didnt have it for either team.
