Yuzuru Hanyu

Japanese figure skater who held world record of 111.82 points in 2020 for the short program until Nathan Chen broke that record with 113.97 points.

Born on December 7 1994, and started skating when he was 4 years old, Yuzu has broken 19 world records ever since he started skating to now. He is also the first man to have received over 100 points in the men's short program, over 200 points in the men's free skate, and over 300 total points in competition. Early on, he was diagnosed with asthma. This affected his career, but now he has built up endurance to asthma.
