In 1998, Wojcicki rented her garage to her Menlo Park home to Google cofounders Sergey Brin and Larry Page and was hired one year later as a Google employee (number 16) and worked on various Google categories, even AdSense. Therefore, in 2006, she entered to her acquisition to YouTube (part of Google).

Wojcicki managed to enter YouTube in 2006 by a major role when it started up last year. Therefore, she made YouTube more better as CEO from 2014 to 2023, which through the 2020s, she managed to oversee against misinformation and hate speech. Still, her blog in YouTube tells her life as she was about to leave the company to take care of herself and her family.
