Percy Jackson and The Olympians, written by Rick Riordan, is a thrilling series that incorporates ancient Greek mythology with modern kids. It makes the Greek gods and goddesses funny and quirky characters that will make you laugh.
The series has many cool demigods (people that are half human and half god) that are warriors as well as friends. All of the characters are lovable and have each of their unique perks. Rick Riordan is also the author of many other series' that have mythology, including The Heros of Olympus series, with Greek and roman mythology, Magnus Chase and The Gods of Asgard, with Norse mythology, The Trials of Apollo, with Greek and Roman mythology, and The Kane Chronicles, with Egyptian mythology.
I absoutely love this author and everything he writes. This series is absolutely amazing. I would recomend this to readers with a taste of fantasy, but who also like books with a hint of realism.
