As a kid, I loved going to the park to play around. My dad would push me on the swings and show me how to fly a kite all at the park. And now that I have a kid, it's such a beautiful thing that I can take my kid the the park and push them on the swings and maybe even teach them how to fly a kite. It's nice that even when so many things change, the park is still here for us. It's so simple, but it's a classic that we as a family, love." - SD
"Every summer, my family and our family friends would go to the park for one big potluck and it was incredible. Adults would play volleyball while the kids played tug-of-war or threw stones in the river nearby. Those who had dogs would bring them and they would just frolick around, loving all the attention we gave them. And at the end we would eat watermelon, it was a tradition. That's an experience you can't have with a mall." - WC
"I grew up going to the park all the time. It was where my friends and I would hang out and play. I had picnics, played sports, spent time with my family all at the park. It's like a second home to me. Even if I live in a different city now, I am reassured that the park will never change." - AO
"Not having our own basketball hoop, my best friend and I would bike over to the neighborhood park all the time to shoot hoops. It was a bi part of my growing up, and it's gone now which makes me pretty sad. It was such a great park for people to hang out at." - ME
