Corgis are named corgis for a wierd reason. The name "Corgi", comes from the Celtic word "Cor" which means dwarf, and "Gi" which means dog. These two aspects made them so good at taking care of cattle because they were able to nipp at the cows heels without getting kicked, hence the name "Dwarf Dog".
