Personally, I just think quokkas are very cute! They're like little rodent-bears.
I didn't even know they existed until last year, when my favorite game added a sticker of a quokka into the game!
My friends like quokkas too, and have great things to say about them, such as:
"Quokkas are herbivores, but if they weren't, they could be apex predators with how cute they are."
