Common Dance Terms
- Pique (pee-kay) To prick, often done in a turn
- Pirouette (peer-whet) To Tur
- Spot (when you are doing a pique or any type of turn, you look at something while you are turning, then when you can't look at it anymore, you keep spinning but whip your head around so you look at it again) Spotting will help yu keep going in a straight line and also
not get dizzy.
- Turn Out (Heels together, toes facng outwards
- Pointed Toes (point your ankle and toes towards the floor)
