uranium is like redstone but more powerful and dangerous, it can still activate redstone-powered machines but it's more effective, pistons will push 2 blocks instead of 1 block, dispencers and droppers shoot with more force, and redstone lamps will glow brighter

radioactivity

using uranium is risky, because it's radioactive. It adds 2 new effects, radiation poisoning and cancer, you get radiation poisoning if you're near redstone or uranium, even holding it gives you it. you get cancer if you had radiation poisoning for 10 minutes.
