A fearful, but nice mob mostly found in the skies any surface biome during night, but is found burrowed in the ground bottom-up during the day. These little things need sunlight to survive but are not plants. Frightlights are passive and are targeted by any zombies or skeletons, endermen, creepers, and phantoms. The main source they are used for is light gel. Health: 12 hearts/24 hp, transforms from: phantoms(NOTE: this adds a new class of mob, called a frightmare)
A frightmare class mob that is passive during the day, and hostile during night. This mob when in its hostile state makes itself transparent but still visible (eyes are the most visible part), and instead of attacking on sight, it stalks you in a way to see if you're its prey, if it doesn't see you as prey or you don't move while it's stalking. When killed, it drops a Fright heart, which can be used to craft Frightful stew (1 bowl, 2 light gels, and 1 fright heart), consuming frightful stew will give you a new effect called "ghost stealth", when you stay still with this effect, you become all black and invisible like the frightfighter, this is useful at night.
Health: 40 hearts/80 hp, transforms from: unintelligent humanoids (illagers, zombies, endermen, piglins)
A 4 legged frightmare that has a shriek attack that gives you the "deafness" effect, the higher the effect strength, the more the ringing blocks out noise. Scarehounds attack anything they see, they claw and launch themself towards their prey and eat whats left of them, they even kill wolves. They drop Fright hearts like the frightfighter, but they also drop Scareclaws which can be used to craft the Fear slasher. It also can drop fright flesh, which can be cooked and eaten, if you eat it raw, you get the darkness and levitation effect (you have a 1/50 chance to convert into a frightmare). If you were to remove it's skin, you will see that its insides are entirely composed of wheat, other than their fright heart and the flesh they consume, which that flesh mixes with the sacred wheat and converts into fright flesh, which is where it comes from. Health: 27 hearts/54 hp, transforms from: 4 legged mobs or jack-o-lanterns.
A strange mob that is a sludge of nightmares and is unaffected by ranged weapons, it has the ability to shapeshift into a specific mob depending on its target's equipment, if they are not equipped with anything, it will transform into a zombie or skeleton, if they have netherite equipment, it will transform into the wither. It even mimics the health the mob has, but it keeps its lost health points if it transforms into a mob with more health than the last one, if it transforms into a wither and had 7 lost hp, it restores its hp but not the lost hp. Health: 15 hearts/30 hp, transforms from: slimes & magma cubes.
A trusting and intelligent mob that is like a villager, but instead of emeralds, it's rubies. This mob spawns in a structure called "freaky ruins", which is exclusive to the Nightmare dimension. Freakmen are the origin and cause of the frightmare class, they caused it by accidentally leaving light gel out in the overworld and a phantom ate it, thinking it was food, which it then converted into a frightlight, which was attacked by other phantoms, leading to the circle of life being screwed up. Health: 20 hearts/40 hp, transforms from: intelligent humanoids (players, villagers)
A light source found in Frightlights, can be used to make Sacklights with 1 light gel, 4 lightsack skins, and 4 dyes of the same color (optional), they can be colored and the light color can be changed with the color too, hopefully can be coded in. DO NO EAT IT OR FEED IT TO ANYTHING BY ITSELF, if you feed a mob light gel by itself, it will become some frightmare class mobs that we'll talk about later.
Malocite is a resource for tools and armor AND NOT FOOD, malocite is stronger than netherite (armor has a durability of 666, and tools have a durability of 3141), it spawns in the Hollow and a new dimension that can only be accessed by sleeping during a blood moon called the Nightmare dimension. Malocite has a relation to a god of sun, named Sol.
A magnificient but brittle crystal that is natural but has a strange relation to frightmares, an example is freakmen use them as a currency. Rubies also have a relation with the moon, especially during lunar eclipses, which there is a goddess of moon, named Luna.
Amulets are Items made from a central gem and an outside material. Amulet of sol is an Amulet that activates during a solar eclipse, made of 1 block of malocite and 8 bones. Amulet of luna activates during a lunar eclipse or blood moon, but lunar effects are reduced during a blood moon, made of 1 block of ruby and 8 wither bones. Amulets can be held in the left hand like the totem of undying, but it doesn't prevent you from dying.
Lunar Eclipses and Blood Moons are 2 different things, Lunar Eclipses grant good effects, but Blood Moons are horrible, they have a 5% chance of occuring and make the whole world red, even underground, because this isn't no natural blood moon, it is a frightmare raid that lasts a whole night. Blood moons increase the spawn rate of hostile mobs (especially hostile frightmare mobs) by 50%, which the hostile mobs are stronger during Blood moons, and sleeping during this will transport you to the Nightmare dimension, the origin of the frightmares.
The Moon is now a separate part of the minecraft sky, which is for these 2 specific events. Solar eclipses happen every 20 minecraft days and lasts 1-3 minutes, can only happen when it's day. effects of this event are as listed; spawnrate of frightlights increase by 25%, the world will be VERY dark, looking at the sun once the event ends gives you blindness for 3 minutes. If holding an Amulet of sol, you will be granted the effect "blessing of sol", which gives night vision, fire resistance, and enchants you with fire aspect, but if you stop holding an amulet, all effects will go away until you hold it again. Lunar Eclipses happen at night and last a whole night, same effects but no blindess or complete darkness. If holding an Amulet of luna, you will have the "blessing of luna" effect, which makes you glow (not the outline, you literally glow) and gives you low gravity, this effect will stay as long as you're holding the Amulet of luna.
