The next one is a barren landscape filled with resources like nitrogen ore and salt crystals, you can get salt from this biome (obviously) and craft useful items with it. Salt can be used to craft saltballs, which if thrown it can melt ice. Another use of salt is with the same item, saltballs can also be used against silverfish, the warden, strays, undead mobs, and endermen. Strays can spawn in this biome.
