From an airline standpoint, the A220 offers a lot. It has advanced technology in its modern cockpit, spacious cabin, and more. The fly by wire design, a modern way of controling an aircraft, reduces weight, drag, and maintenance costs, as well as an increase safety and efficiency. It's one of the most fuel efficient aircrafts of its kind, consuming 25% less fuel and emitting less carbon dioxide (CO2), than any other short to medium haul aircraft built. This decrease in CO2 emissions and fuel consumption, helps the environment and saves airlines money in the long run. The A220’s long range allows for transatlantic and transcontinental flights. Operating these routes on a smaller, fuel efficient aircraft is cheaper than operating the same flights on heavier, larger, fuel guzzling aircrafts like those that are used today.

From a passenger standpoint the A220 is a great aircaft. It is 50% quieter than other aircrafts in the market. This creates a quiet and calm atmosphere in the cabin for passengers, and it also allows the aircraft to operate in densely populated areas without creating a lot of disturbance. This is especially good at night where residents of a local area will be able to sleep easier as the aircraft flies by, as opposed to the louder aircrafts that operate today. The aircraft has wide seats and large windows. The wide seats are very roomy which gives passengers a lot of space, while the large windows allow for great views and allows lots of natural light to flood in and light up the cabin.

In all, the A220 family is a great aircraft. Its efficiency and advanced technology helps airlines save money while its quietness and roomy cabin boosts passenger experience. The A220 is clearly a game changer in all aspects.
