I have lots of memories from the beach, because almost every day we are on the beach in Florida!
Fishing is one of my favorite things to do in Florida. When we go fishing, we catch our own bait at the beach with a cast net. Then, we keep them in a bucket and just fish with them. We catch Snook, Sea trout, Jack, and twice we caught a pufferfish. We found one good fishing spot where we caught the pufferfish and a creepy fish with legs. In that spot we always catch weird fish.

One time when we were catching bait, we caught little crabs and we connected them to our fingers and played with them. Another time we were at a beach when I saw something in the water and it turned out to be a hermit crab bigger than my head in a shell! We pulled it out of the water a little bit and it was SO cool!!!
When we go out on the beach, we see lots of things and one day everything was getting washed up, so we threw 64 starfish back into the Gulf, we found 2 jellyfish stuck in the sand, we found a squid, and a lobster in a trap.
At the beach the tide is kind of cool and scary! We would jump off our boat when it was parked on the beach and float down because of the tide, but you would have to make it to shore before you get to the corner of the beach. You could swim the opposite way the water was pulling you and you wouldn't move!
When we go boating, we always see manatees, sting rays, and dolphins! The dolphins love boats, so they swim around your boat. The manatees are cool when they pop out of nowhere and you think it is a log. And the stingrays jump out of the water and are hard to see!
