A third of the world's malnourished children live in India, according to UNICEF. When you think of starving children, your mind might immediatley jump to thoughts of Africa, but India is such an overcrowded country that about three thousand children die from malnutrition every day. That would be an understandable place to give to.
As I'm sure youve seen the commercials, there are many children starving in Africa. The Nepad-draft strategy states that about five million people die from hunger (In Africa) each year.
You can help everyone you encounter. Just because other people have it worse, doesn't mean that other people's problems or hunger is meaningless. Look all around, because at any given time, there are so many people that can be helped. "No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted." -Aesop
