Mountain gorillas live in east and West Africa. Gorillas are on every continent. People have some in zoos around the globe. If you've ever gone to the zoo you've probably saw a gorilla. The ones in zoos are in captivity, not all captivity is bad for animals. In most cases captivity is better for animals because they don't have to worry about predators. That is if they are being taken care of properly. If they are not being mistreated, then they will be good.
That is typically where gorillas live in the world. They live in other places but they're most likely at zoos than in the wild. That is most likely because of the Urbanization that has gone on in the Americas and Asia. Asia has 48 countries. From reading that i'm guessing that Asia is probably crowded. So they don't have space for gorillas.
