Entomology is the scientific study of insects and their interactions with, relating to biology and zoology in general. Multiple jobs are available for entomologists, such as pest control (sad), field entomology, food inspector, or creating cures for diseases derived from insects. While today, entomology only focuses on "true bugs", the definition used to include arthropods (spiders), myriapods (centipedes/millipedes), and crustaceans (roly polys) as well.
Most of the time spent in the club is related to learning or talking about insects, including powerpoints, creating designs/posters, and occasionally doing bug themed Kahoots. The rest of the time is spent learning how to pin bugs so they can be displayed, along with the methods of how to catch them, how to make them pliable, and how to pin them.
