There are many rules in volleyball that you will know right off the bat, and there are many you will learn along the way, but right here I will tell you some of the most basic rules.
If you look at the image below you can see a person standing on a small platform. This person is the referee. They help make sure the game goes smoothly and they make sure all the rules are followed. There is also another referee across from the one on the platform. This referee helps to make sure, again, that all the rules are followed and spots what the other referee may miss. Aside from these referees there are two other people that help make sure the rules are followed. These two people are called
