There are many rules in Dungeons & Dragons, but here are some of the basics:
Before you can even begin, you have to agree on how you will act while playing.
For instance: Will there be swearing?,
Is the campaign R or PG?, How can you react when you get a bad roll?
Setting behavioral ground rule allows everyone to fell comfortable and enjoy
each session to the fullest.
When you are part of a campaign, whether you are a player or a Dungeon Master,
it is important that you can agree on set times to meet for each session.
If you don't, campaigns can end up falling apart and degrading.
In Dungeons & Dragons, a large amount of what you can do depends on rolling the dice.
You roll the dice when talking to people, attacking enemies,
and attempting to do anything that you normally wouldn't be able to effortlessly do.
