Ichigo Kurosaiki is a Normal Highschool student who gains the ability of a Shinigami(Soul Reaper in English)and becomes a Substitute Soul Reaper. He goes around Karakura Town taking care of Rabid Spirits and traitorous Soul Reapers, He does all this under the command of the Soul Society.
In the beggining of the series he wields a Huge Sword infused with the power of a Soul Reaper
