After all the deaths in Michael's family (described in "Family Lore"), Michael began working at Circus Baby's Pizza World, as it was requested by his father to free Elizabeth. He did his various duties as a Night Guard, returning home every night to watch his favorite soap operas. He followed the instructions of Circus Baby, whom was possesed by his younger sister. Little did he know, she had a plan to escape, a plan that would involve his own death. Circus Baby lead him to the scooping room, where she was seen as Ennard, a mix of all the funtimes. Elizabeth states: "There is nowhere to go, when we look like this. But if we looked like you, then we could hide. If we looked like you, then we would have somewhere to go. The Scooper only hurts for a moment." Michael Afton was then scooped. The funtimes in the form of Ennard used him as a skin suit. Michael continued to walk and return home every night, but his body was slowly rotting. Eventually, Ennard made an escape out of Michael's now rotten body, ending up in the sewers. Michael was dead, but Elizabeth did not want him to die. "You won't die" She repeated over and over until Michael rose, now "living" as something like a zombie. Michael then goes to find his father in an attempt to fix all the horrid things that he has done over the years. He gets a job at Fazbear's Fright, knowing his father would be there. He works for many nights before lighting the place up in flames in an attempt to kill his father, Springtrap, only for him to come back later as Scraptrap. Michael, who refuses to give up until his father is done, finds out about a new location, a location that could help put an end to all this suffering everyone has gone through. Working at this new location, Michael was constantly scrapping animatronics for parts. Some of which who were possesed by individuals he knew in the past. By Saturday, Michael gathered all the remaining animatronics in one place. Scrap Baby (who is possesed by Elizabeth) believes the fact that Michael gathered everyone in one place is a gift for them, but she is interrupted by Henry Emily, the father of William Afton's first victim.
"Connection terminated. I am sorry to interrupt you Elizabeth, if you even still remember that name. But you are not here to recieve a gift, nor have you been called here by the individual you assume."
He starts. Going on to perform a whole speech. At one point he says
"And to my brave volunteer who found this job not intended for you. Although there was a way out planned for you, I have a feeling that is not what you want. I have a feeling you are right where you want to be." He is reffering to Michael, he has given him an opportunity to rest. The whole place is set on fire, and everybody is put to rest...OR WERE THEY?
