I love to play tennis, it's my favorite sport! So today Im going to tell you some atire you will need to play, and tennis facts!

Tennis Facts

• Yellow tennis balls were used for the first time in Wimbledon in 1986.
• The fastest server in the women's tennis is Sabine Lisicki with a serve of 131mph!
• The first women to play in the Wimbldom tennis matches wore full lengh dresses!
• Tennis was first invented in 1873 in Great Britian!
• There are 4 types of court that you can play tennis on which are clay, grass, carpet, and hard courts.
• The longest tennis match was 11 hours and 5 minutes!
• There are 4 types of major tennis tourniments which are the French Open, U.S. Open, Australian Open, and Wimbledon!
• The fastest mens serve in tennis was by Nick Kyrgios at a speed of 156mph!

Things You Will Need to Play Tennis!

1. A Nice tennis racket, here is a nice racket that you could use!

2. Depending on your racket you may need a shock absorber to stop the vibrations if the strings are too loose.

3. Depending on the day you may need a visor/hat of some sort I have a school visor but you can use anything!

4. You will need tennis clothes, but you can use regular clothes!

5. You will need a space to play tennis like a court or you can play with a wall or garage door!

6. You will need a good pair of tennis shoe's if you are planning to join the tennis team, but if you are only going to play for fun any old pair will do here is a pair of proper women's tennis shoes.

7. Of couse you need tennis balls to play tennis my favorite type are the Willson cans.

8. Playing tennis on a hot day can be extremely exhausting you will need a water bottle here is a good water bottle that I use but you can use any old water bottle you have laying around.

9. Some other optional stuff is sunscreen, sweat bands, hair ties, sunglasses, bug spray, tennis bag, or tennis ball launchers.
