The (redacted) is made up of 32 teams, 4 per division with 8 divisions. The whole season is split up by a preseason with 3 games, a regular season with 17 games and 18 weeks, and a playoff bracket where teams qualify by being 1st in their division or by getting a wild card.
Generally only two teams per division qualify but that can change depending on other teams records. Finally in the first game of the playoffs 6 of the teams play while, the No. 1 seed gets a bye and skips the first round.
Then the No. 1 seed plays the lowest seed that is left. Finally they continue to play in an elimination bracket until the final where everything is won or lost there. Football is very fun to watch and play.
