Hockey is one of my favorite sports to play as well as watch. It's a high paced game with a lot of action. There is a lot of physicality and can be fun to see in aciton. There are 3 different sections to the season, preseason, normal season, and the playoffs.
The preseason is a short 10 game period where teams warm-up and make changes to their team for the regular season.
In the regular season teams play 83 games for a chance to play in the playoffs. To make the playoffs you need to be top 3 in your division (there are 4) or be 4th or 5th in the conference.
Once in the playoffs teams need to win 4/7 games to move on to the next round. There are 4 rounds, the first and second round, the conference final, and the cup final.
