Brutus the Buckeye

  1. in 1965, Brutus started as a paper-mache buckeye with a smily face
  2. after two weeks the paper-mache Brutus was worn out, so they made Brutus into fiberglass
  3. in 1975, Brutus changed from a buckeye that went down to your legs, to one that rested on your shoulder, also he had one eye squinting, which made him more disliked
  4. in 1976, they brought the old fiberglass Brutus back
  5. in 1980, they kept their fiberglass mascot but put a hat with an O on him
  6. in 1981, Brutus started looking a little more like he does today, except his face had a more fake looking smile
  7. in 1982 Brutus looked the same as in 1981, but had a striped scarlet and grey shirt that said Brutus on the front and had the number 00 on the back
  8. in 2001, Brutus started looking like he does today. I think that Brutus is the best mascot ever.
