The picture above it gives us numbers to indicate where each part of the basketball court is. Number 1 shows us the side lines of the basketball court. Number 2 shows us the out of bounds line behind the hoop. Number 3 shows us the half court line. Number 4 on the picture is the three point line. The three point line is the line where if you shoot behind it you get three points. Number 5 and 6 is basically the free throw lines. You can shoot from the free throw in the game and get two points, or if you get a shooting foul you get to shoot from the line. You have two shots to which each give you one point. If you get shooting foul at the three point line then you have three shots which each give you one point. Number 7 indicates the lines for the key. You can stay in the key for only three seconds, and then you have to get out. Finally, for number 8 it shows us the place where you do a tip off.
