On August 26th they announced that after 9 months since their last album, they would finally be releasing their fourth studio album in September though their Twitter. Later they revealed the release date, September 21st, the cover art and tracklist through another Twitter post. The week leading up to the release of Iridesence, BROCKHAMPTON went all out, from their pop-up shop in L.A, daily merch drops, a documentary titled "The Longest Summer In America", and a music video, all cullminating to the first live performance of the album live-streamed on Youtube, and the long-awaited release of their 4th studio album, Iridesence.
