This years Kentucky Derby is going to be exiting!It is mostly a race between Bolt D' Oro and Good Magic.Bolt d' Oro (top) and Good Magic(bottom).

Bolt was bred at WinStar Farm.His sire is Medaglia d'Oro,who won the Travers Stakes and came in fourth in the 2002 Kentucky Derby. Globe Trot was his dam and her first foal was a stakes winner.He has won San Felipe Stakes,FrontRunner Stakes,Del Mar Futurity,and Maiden Special Weight.He came in second in Santa Anita Derby and came in 3rd in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile. The winner of the Breeders' Cup Juvenile was Good Magic. the winner of Santa Anita Derby was Justify.
Good Magic was bred at Stonestreet Stables.His sire is Curlin,who won the Preakness Stakes, Breeders' Cup Classic and Dubai World Cup.His dam is Glinda the Good, a stakes winner.He has won the Breeders' Cup Juvenile and the Blue Grass Stakes.He came in second in Champagne Stakes and Maiden Special Weight.He ame in third in the Fountain of Youth Stakes. Bolt d' Oro won the Maiden Special Weight. But I will not list all of the other winners.
The top 10 are Magnum in 1st, Good Magic in 2nd, Audible in 3rd, Noble Indy in 4th, Vino Rosso in 5th, Bolt d' Oro in 6th, Enticed in 7th, Mendelssohn in 8th, Justify in 9th, and Quip is 10th.These are all though contenders for the 2018 Kentucky Derby.
