Why is Destiny 2 a more casual game than Destiny 1?
No RNG rolls on guns
No perks on armor
You turn in tokens on planets, raids and strikes instead of getting your items right when you finish the activity/kill the final boss.
The end game grind isn't really worth it, and with all competitive PvP taking away light level bonnuses, a power level 10 player is just as good as a 305.
The raid loot has no bonuses other than being a higher light level
More and more micro-transactions are making publishers greedier than ever before, locking lots of items behind an RNG laced paywall
This is only a few of the reasons as to why the Destiny 2 community is becoming very casual, and less of a hardcore loot grinding game. Like it was back in D1.
