Persona 5 Royal, made by ATLUS is the improved version of Persona 5 with extra content, a turn based RPG with a focus on charcters and story above all else. the game follows you, a highschool student with a criminal record living in the attic of a coffee shop owned by a friend of your parents. trying to shake off these weird dreams and visions you keep having, your first day of school is ruined when you accidently enter a cognitive world and are imprisoned with a random blond punk and saved by a talking cat. now you gotta go back, right the wrongs of criminals and help the world, with other high schoolers.

Persona 5 is loooong, I have spent roughly 100 hours on the game and I still haven't finished the main story, let alone the extra content included in the game. This game is as fun as it is long, it never feels like your wasting your time because of all the activities you can participate in and the rewards you get for doing so. the combat is strategic, needing to take advantage of an enemy's weakness to defeat them quickly, all the while making sure you don't end up wasting all your resources for the "Palace" you are in. the characters are interesting, all with different personalities and quirks. you build up these relationships with chracters fro extra rewards and abilities, making your own character stronger as time goes on. I love this game.
