Far Cry 5, an open world, first-person shooter set in Hope County, Montana, where a cult has taken over all of Hope County, cutting phones, capturing non-believers and making sure no one leaves. you play as a local deputy with the sole goal of building a resistance and killing the head of the cult, Joseph Seed. on your journey, you kill his siblings, free people in each region and finally take the fight to him. the setting of Montana is actually very fitting, with its open wilderness and loose definition of gun control laws, Hope County is one of the best settings in any Far Cry game.

Far Cry 5 has all this and more, so you can enjoy your Montana sandbox playground to the fullest. Fight a plane, helicopter and the equivalent of a bomb squad while liberating the regions of Hope County. Recruit some friends, like Boomer the dog, Hurk Jr. the redneck explosives expert or Cheeseburger the grizzly bear with diabetes. Explore the beautiful mountain scenery, get into ariel dogfights, blow up a statue as big as lady liberty. Make those cultists regret getting out of bed in the morning.
