  • You could take therapy lessons instead of going to a personal person you already know. If you are working or you are busy with school or etc, it is ok to take a breath so your mental health can be healthy and you can stay happy.You could distract yourself from and problems like the bad things going on in your life you can fill that in with good things.
  • Force someone to get help (if they're over 18, and it's not an emergency situation). As adults, we are all ultimately responsible for making our own decisions. This includes when – or if – we choose to seek help when we feel unwell.
    • Force someone to talk to you. It can take time for someone to feel able to talk openly, and putting pressure on them to talk might make them feel less comfortable telling you about their experiences.
    • 11% of children ages 3-17 had current, diagnosed anxiety (9% of males and 12% of females).
    • 8% of children ages 3-17 had current, diagnosed behavior disorders (10% of males and 5% of females)
    • 4% of children ages 3-17 had current, diagnosed depression (3% of males and 6% of females).
    • 40% reported persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness in the past year.
    • 20% reported seriously considering attempting suicide in the past year.
