Independence day is a day in the United States were we remember and celebrate the Declaration of Independence. Independence Day is always on the fourth of July. Most people call Independence Day Fourth of July. Many people call this day Fourth of July because the Declaration of Independence was approved by the Second Continental Congress on July 4. On Fourth of July people usally celebrate it by having cook outs in their backyard/front yard with their family and friends. Other families go to the beaches/lakes/parks and have their own cook outs there. Some people also go to parades on Independence day. Usally on the night of Fourth of July people throw fireworks up into the skys and the sky is usally filled with colorfully fireworks.
