(Picture from Here)

Letter Buttons

The A button.

This button (for most games) is the select, jump, or nitro for the game "Need for Speed" button.

The B button

This button is the button you push to go back for the most part. In shooting games, it's crouch, lay down and somethimes roll. In "Rocket League", its the boost.

The X Button

The X button doesn't do much but in driving games, its the drift button.

The Y Button

The Y button is not used much but in some games it can be used to either change or use cards. In Minceraft, it is used to pull up your inventory.

The Rest of the Buttons

D-Pad

The D-Pad are the buttons that look like a plus sign in the bottom left part of the remote. This is used to navigate the srceen. If you need to go up, use the button that is facing up. Going down? Use the buton that is pointing down. Left and right? Same thing.

Ls

Ls (Left stick) is the one of the circle things that is sticking out of the remote. It is the one on the left side. DONT WORRY! It is supposed to move around and pop in and out. When you hold the remote, your left thumb goes on top of this. This button is for moving aroud in shooting games, steering in racing games, and does the same thing that the D-Pad does for everything else.

Rs

Rs (Right stick) is the other thing that sticks out from the remote. This is used for turning your head in shooter games and does the same thing as the D-pad. DONT WORRY! It is supposed to move around and pop in and out. When you hold the remote, your right thumb goes on top of this.

The Button With Three Lines

The button with three lines is normally the pause button.

The Circle Button That Has the Box and Then a Half Box Around the First Box

This button doesn't do much but it is the button that you push for the "Host Priviledges" in "Minecraft".

The Buttons on the Front That are Labled LB and RB

LB (Left bumper) and RB (Right bumper) are the bumpers that you would push to change menus on the home screen and on some games. LB is on the left side of the remote and when you push it, it moves your cursor left. Same principle for RB. In "Minecraft", you use these to navigate the bar with your items in it.

The Buttons on the Front That are Labled LT and RT

The button LT stands for Left Trigger and is on the left side of the remote. Your left index finger goes here when you hold the remote. In shooting games, this trigger will make the player look into the scope and zoom in on the crosshairs. RT stands for Right Trigger and is on the right side of the remote. When you hold the remote, your right index finger goes here. In shooting games, this trigger will shoot or swing (for a sword) the weapon that you are using.

The Big Glow Up X at the Top

This button does quite a bit. For starters, this button turns on the Xbox and the controller. If the controller is off, you hold down on this button and it turns itself on and the Xbox too! If you are playing a game and you want to get to the home srceen, you push this button and then the "Home" box on the sreen. If you have the Xbox on and you want to turn it off without getting up, you can hold down of this button and select the one that says ¨Turn off Console¨, you can also choose ¨Turn off Controller¨, which turns off the controller. This button will also get you to the some thing else, which is my next subject...

How to Take a GameClip, Screenshot, and Veiw Them After you've Taken Them

To take a gameclip, you push the glowing X and then the letter x.Push the glowing x and then push the Y button. To view these cameclips or screenshots, push the glowing x and then push the button with the one full square and the half a box around it. Then it should bring you to a screen that has a button that says "Manage Captures", push that. And there you go.

That's all for me!!!

So good luck.

😃👍
