Keeper of the Lost Cities, written by Shannon Messenger, is a wonderful series that incorporates exctinct animals, magic, elves, an evil corpoation, and a whole lot of action into eleven books (with more to come). It is a New York Times Best-Seller for many reasons.
It brings a new perspective on elves and people, has exciting plot twists, and really interests you until the very end. Each book ends with an interesting cliff-hanger, leaving readers thirsty for the next book. There are so many fun characters who you will both love and hate. I love this series for many reasons, and this paragraph can't say even half of them.
This is an awesome book series, and although it can be be a bit boring at times, all books have one yawn-worthy piece. I would highly recomend this series to anyone who likes action-adventure, fantasy, and a bit of romance.
