"Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." : Proverb 18:21

My Family and Childhood

I was born on July 28th, 2011, at Wellstar Hospital. I went to Factory Shoals Elementary School, then to Chestnut Log Middle School. In the middle of my 6th grade year, I transferred to Angels in Progress Academy, and stayed there until my 7th grade year. For my 8th grade year, I went to Harvester Christian Academy.

I have three brothers, Marcellus, the oldest, Devin, the second oldest, and Josiah, the youngest. Right now, my brother Josiah is currently attending Washburn University in Kansas. My oldest brother is a firefighter, he's pretty cool. My second oldest brother, Devin, is really cool too! He works really hard and loves Jesus a lot, and he has a son named David; that's my nephew.

My parents, Tamekia and Andre Reid, own a transportation company called Chariots of Fire. My entire life, I've looked up to them for advice and their input. While sometimes, I might've failed to obey them, I've realized that they only want the best for me and I pray that my life choices will begin to reflect that more than they already have. #ilovemyparents

My Hobbies and Interests

My hobbies include reading, writing, watching documentaries, and playing video games. While I'm usually playing video games, I've found that I prefer watching documentaries, and above all that, I enjoy writing stories even if I don't get to do it as often as I like.

Outside of my usual hobbies, I like learning new languages. Right now, I'm learning Spanish! I plan to learn French, Afrikaans, Aramaic, and Swahili. :) One of the main reasons I like learning new languages is because I enjoy writing stories about lives that are not my own, so a lot of them take place in different countries and/or time periods.

I've read a LOT of books so far, but some of my favorites have been The Red Velvet Turnshoe and The Law of Angels; both by Cassandra Clark; East by Edith Pattou; The Squire's Tale Series by Gerald Morris; A Girl Named Disaster; The Ear, The Eye, and The Arm; and The Sea of Trolls--all by Nancy Farmer.

Lately, I have been most of all interested by the cultures of Europe, Africa, the Americas, and the Middle East. Specific events I'm interested include: The ENTIRETY of the Bible, the Hundred Years War, The Islamic Revolution, The Portuguese Colonial War, The Viking Age, The Bronze and Iron Ages, The Dark Age, and The Early Ages of Christianity, just to name a few.
