Extracurricular Activities

I've played multiple sports over my life; Basketball, Soccer, and most recently, Volleyball. While it was fun playing Basketball, I don't think I'd do it again. I'm on the fence about Soccer, but I'll most definitely try to play Volleyball in my Sophmore year. I've played some other sports just to try them out, but they didn't stick out to me.

Even then, sports aren't really my thing. I've always preferred reading and writing to extracurricular activities. I mostly do sports to socialize with others and stay physically active while I'm at it.

My Faith

I was raised a Christian my entire life, but only recently have I strove to be a disciple of Christ. For a lot of my childhood, I just viewed God as someone that was just kind of "there" instead of someone who should've been the center of my life.

I made some bad choices for a lot of my life, and I still do sometimes, but at least now I'm learning to follow Christ's example more. My belief in Christ has influenced me to obey my parents more, seek to understand others, and to avoid conflict to the best of my ability. I pray that soon, i'll show all Fruits of The Spirit, but I have a long way to go.

You can ask anyone I've known personally for a long time, and they'd be able to tell you that, thanks to God, there has been a genuine change in my behavior. I don't feel the need to immediately seek revenge whenever I think someone's wronged me, and it feels like I've been in a sense of peace that has rarely left me. I thank God for keeping me calm, and I'd recommend strengthening your relationship with Him if you haven't already.
