Besides computer science Caltech is more known as a science and engineering Institue, that work together with NASA, sending pictures and sharing information of our planets and solar system. The students that go there have one of the worlds brightest minds, cause of this, they have expanded the knowledge of the universe, and have created inventions of the future.
California Institute of Technology was originally named Throop University in 1891 until renamed to what it is called today in 1920. Caltech has even earned small but rewarding prizes. They have earned a lot of recognition over the years, including 48 nobel prizes. Even funner fact that Albert Einstein taught and visited Caltech for 3 winters, collabortating and dicussing thories with other scientists where he was a reasearch associate.(found in website link below)
