This is the second movie in The Hunger Games Series. Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Melark were the recent winners of the 74th annual hunger games. There was only supposed to be one victor/winner but the cheated the system by threatening to eat poisonous berries if could not both win. They tour around the 12 districts announcing their victory. Every 25 years there is a special game called the quarter quell. For the 75th hunger games all the victors are chosen again for the hunger games. Katniss and Peeta are chosen again since they were 2 of the 3 winners in ditrict 12. Katniss, Peeta and their companions want to rebel against the government.
