Planet Earth has many, many, many leaves! Leaves come in different forms ranging from color, shape, and size. These leaves make each plant unique. However, not all plants are safe. Some leaves are part of plants that are poisonous and harmful. So how do you identify these plants?
The most common way to identify poisonous plants is by remembering the term, "Leaves of three let it be". To clarify, usually plants that heave three leaves are poisonous. However, some plants with a three-leaf pattern are safe and some poisonous plants have more than three leaves. So, there isn't a specific way to identify poisonous plants. Learning a lot of different patterns-since no one pattern is perfect- can lead to better chances of staying cautious from poisonous plants. Asking a plant expert can also help identify poisonous plants and their leaves.
