Hogwarts Houses

In Hogwarts, the wizarding schol that Harry attends, there are four Hogwarts houses that the students get sorted in based on personality. The students are sprted by a magical hat called "The Sorting Hat," in their first years of Hogwarts.

  1. Gryffindor
  2. Gryffindor is the most well-known house and the most talked about, considering Harry and his friends are all Gryffindors. Gryffindor's are known for their bravery and courage. They have a "hero" reputation mainly due to people thinking they only care about saving the day, and that they care less about people. However, most Gryffindor's are people who would find a way to save people they care about rather than winning wars or competitions.

  3. Hufflepuff
  4. Hufflepuff's are known for their friendliness and kind personalities. Despite them being one of the best houses, they're mainly overlooked and forgotten. Lot's of people assume Hufflepuff's are stupid people who have a 100% positive mindset, however lot's of Hufflepuff's are actually smart and brave, they just care more about friendship than anything else.

  5. Slytherin
  6. Slytherin's have a strong reputation as the bad guys since almost every antagonist from Harry Potter came from Slytherin. Slytherin's, however, are people who are just a little more negative, or realistic. Slytherin's traits are cunning, ambitious, sensible and strong leaders. Most the time they think through every outcome and possibility before acting. They also have a bad habit of comparing themselves to others, instead of focusing on what they can or did do.

  7. Ravenclaw
  8. Last but certainly not least is Ravenclaw. Ravenclaw's are the underrated, wise, creative, intelligent, talented and motivated people. People have the general idea that Ravenclaw's are the smart one's, and the type of student who asks the teacher if they have homework right before the bell rings. While some of that is right, most Ravenclaw's are the students occupied with art, or other hobbies during class but still somehow manage to take in everything the teacher is saying. They take lot's of pride in their accomplishments but try not to boast.
