  1. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
  2. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone was published on June 26th, 1997. It was originally published as Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone, however JK Rowling changed it, thinking that not too many people would know what Philosophers meant.

  3. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
  4. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets gets it's name from the mysterious chamber in the book, which is where the main plot stems from. It was published in 1998, only one year after the first one.

  5. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
  6. The third book of the series was one of the most popular one's in the series. Harry finally gets the option to go to Hogsmeade with his friends but he is unable to go as there are many more bigger problems taking place.

  7. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
  8. In the fourth book, a tournament comes to Hogwarts which gives students the option to enter and compete against other schools. Naturally, Harry gets accidentally selected and has to compete, although the tournament is much darker than Harry can tell.

  9. Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix
  10. The fifth book takes a darker turn when dementors try to hurt Harry and Voldemort returns. A new teacher also comes to Hogwarts who causes trouble for the students.

  11. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
  12. In the second to last book, Harry theorizes his classmate, Draco could be a supporter of Voldemort gathering information on the school. Harry also discovers an old textbook from an old student that gives him helpful and dangerous mysterious custom spells.

  13. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
  14. In the final book, Harry and his friends are away from Hogwarts and on the run from Voldemort. However Voldemort has taken control of the Ministry of Magic and his followers have infiltrated the school.
