What it is:

A gear is basically a set of toothed wheels that allows a robot to do an action. It works with multiple gears that are different sizes. These alter the speed in a driving mechanism(wheels, crane, etc.).

How to use it:

To use a gear, you usually put them in according to size to change the output torque. By multiplying the torque by gear ratio, you lose the efficiency. In some cases, gear reduction increases the speed and reduce torque.
