Click this image to take our survey on littering, so we can collect data about how big the issue is and start imposing the solution together. We would also like to collect feedback.
Overall, we received 70 responses on this form. Under this section we'll analyze each part of the form and how the audience responded.
After analyzing the first section, we found that most of the target audience cared more about the environment, with the most picked choice being scale 5. They also provided the input that they dedicate 'a little of their time' caring for the environment, which shows potential for a target audience that will be more inclined to finding a solution in our website. This can be viewed in the percentage differences.
According to the first part of the second section "Discussing the Problem", most of our survey audience believe that people in Staten Island litter because of there being an issue with laziness. Furthermore, more people responded with littering being a higher issue, with the most chosen option being 6 on a scale from 1 to 8. Not only does this bring another issue to light--laziness--but it also shows how much residents of Staten Island pay attention to the issue.
In this section, we asked the target audience questions that relate to finding a solution. As you can see, in the audience of 70 people, most of them are inclined to picking up something themselves if they see it being littered. Also, the most probable solutions based on the agree or disagree section are putting more garbage cans up and enforcing laws against littering or issuing a fine. This is evidenced by the followup question having the most picked choices as 'enforcing laws/issuing fines' and 'trash cans everywhere'.
Why is littering a problem?
Littering is a problem because it endangers our nature and ruins the atmosphere.
