Pros & Cons

There are quite a few pros to the use of nuclear fission for things such as energy. But it also has its cons. I will list a few here.

Pros

• It is a clean energy source compared to fossil fuels such as coal, natural gas, and crude oil.
• It has multiple different uses.
• When it comes to efficiency it is cheap and has a very high power output.
• Opens up new jobs.

So there are plenty of pros to nuclear fission, but what about the cons?

Cons

• To gather matireals, it requires plenty of attention and care.
• Although rare, there are possibilities of a meltdown of accident.
• Can be used as a weapon of war.
• It may last a long time but is not a renwable source of energy
