What does shark skin feel like? |
Shark skin feels similar to sandpaper. It is made up of tooth-like structures that cause friction in the water when they swim. |

How do sharks sleep? |
Sharks don't sleep. They have whats called a resting period. During the resting period they become alomst catatonic as part of their brain shuts off as they filter water into their lungs. |
Can sharks hear? |
While it is not as strong as other senses a shark uses its hearsing to feel distirbances in the water. |
How powerful is a sharks jaws? |
Sharks can exert 1.8 tonnes with their jaw. It is one of the most powerful animal bites out of any living species. |
