What is Mental Health?

'Mental Health' is a state of well-being in which an individual realizes their abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, and can work productively while being able to contribute to the community.

What are the types of mental health issues?

-Depression: A mental health disorder characterized by persistanly depressed mood or loss of interest in activities, causing a significant impact in their life.

-Anxiety: A mental health disorder charecterized by feelings of worry, anxiety, or fear that is strong enough to interfere with ones daily activity.

-Bipolar Disorder: A disorder associated episodes of of mood swings ranging from depressive lows to manic highs.

-ADHD: A chronic condition including attention difficulty, hyperactivity, and impulsiveness.

-Post Traumatic stress disorder (PTSD): A disorder in which a person has difficulty recovering after experiencing or witnessing a terrifying event
