Chapter 3, part 1

Following the 2nd Main Game, Tia Safalin rushes the survivors to move onto the next floor. They go through the doorway which previously led to the Arbitration Room of the 11th attraction and now leads them to what looks like the Victory Stairs, but with the appearance of climbing the sky.

Once they reach the top, there's a door that leads to a dark corridor. The group stumbles into a large cavernous room with seven coffins around a stone monument. Opening the center one reveals what looks like the corpse of Sou Hiyori, the man Alice killed.

Suddenly, he comes to life and laughingly reveals that he's a doll and their new Floor Master. But first, he allows them to give him a new name since Shin Tsukimi adopted his previous one. (*Hereafter he will be referred to as Midori to avoid confusion.) Before Midori would reveal what the new "Sub-Game" is, the occupants of the other coffins also come to life.

They're dolls of the other First Trial victims, though ones that the survivors never personally knew. The caveat is that each of the surviving participants is partnered with a Trial victim, connected by a red laser through their collars. (A so-called "red string of fate.") Getting too far apart from their partners is "fatal" to the dolls. Sara is connected to Ranmaru, Keiji to Hinako, Kanna/Shin to Kurumada, Q-taro to Mai, Reko/Alice to Anzu, and Gin to Hayasaka.

Midori explains that in the new game all they have to do is hunt down and kill a certain target... himself. With that proclamation, he runs away, starting off the "Murderer Game".

A monster, later known as an Obstructor appears in front of the cast. There are a limited amount of turns to defeat the Obstructor. If the player runs out of turns, the Obstructor destroys Anzu, trapped inside a coffin. In order to save Anzu, correct actions must be used in the correct order.

Once the ordeal with the monster is finished, the group proceeds past the grave marker to the next room. In front of them is a gate. Stuck to it is a mysterious piece of paper, which turns out to be a map of the fourth floor. Visiting the top left room, the survivors and dolls discuss how it's possibly a bathroom, only for it to not open after attempting to open it. Upon entering the room in the top right of the map, Kurumada makes a comment on how similar the room is a gym he used to go to. The group attempts to move into the next room, when the passage suddenly closes. The lights go out, and Shin/Kanna hear a noise from the walls, leading Sara to warn everyone to get on to the gym mat. A liquid quickly pouring in from multiple windows in the room fills up the room.

Sara inspects the shadow on the floor of the mat, and deduces that something is stuck to the ceiling. Keiji bounces off the ropes and retrieves it, and it turns out to be a knife. Mai cuts the soft ropes with the knife. Ranmaru insepcts a white cord on the floor and plugs it into the post, allowing him to change its color to yellow. The colors of the ropes now match the posts, and the liquid disappears and the passage reopens.

After exiting the passage, they find a room full of paintings. Many of these paintings display the deaths of other participants. When the Midori painting is investigated, he will start to talk, revealing it is not a painting but a video call. He tells the cast he has crucial information, such as their lost memories and the reason ASU-NARO is having them kill each other, but refuses to tell them the information, saying they should figure it out on their own. He states that a few of the floors should help them regain their memories. Midori reveals that this "Murderer Game" has a time limit, which is the Dummies' batteries. Shunsuke questions specifically how long the batteries will last, only for Midori to stop talking. The cast confirms with each other that this means ASU-NARO is the organization that kidnapped them.

Proceeding into the next room, there are elevators. However, there is nothing they can do since the elevators aren't working. The next room appears to be a white room with multiple lockers; some open, some closed. There is a bloodstain on the ceiling of the locker room. Keiji confirms that it's an old bloodstain, suspecting that it was from someone's First Trial.

Searching with Ranmaru

Ranmaru suggests splitting up in pairs to search each of the rooms again. Sara and Ranmaru head to the Bathrooms. Noticing the sign looks like two figures holding hands, Sara holds Ranmaru's hand and the door opens. Inside is a fluffy pink room, where a woman greets them. Ranmaru alerts Sara, telling her that the woman is an Obstructor. The woman leaves to get tea, leaving the pair alone and confused. Sara searches the room and finds painting supplies in a drawer, which the woman says she can keep.

Ranmaru questions the woman, asking if she is an Obstructor. The woman admits to being one, but doesn't like to fight, and would rather listen to people in this Discussion Room. Sara drinks the tea offered by the Obstructor, helping her feel relaxed. She wonders to herself about her allies and situation, but the woman interrupts her thoughts. The woman reveals that only one person can survive this game, and that the decision is near; even possibly within the day. The woman asks Ranmaru if he is a pair for objective's sake or if he and Sara are partners, but he doesn't reply. After the woman leaves the room, Ranmaru asks Sara if they can talk, saying it's important. He reveals that there is a human from ASU-NARO among them, and believes this is special information only he has.

The two return to the Art Gallery, and Sara fills in the uncolored parts of the collar painting. The painting opens, revealing a breaker inside. She switches it and power returns to the elevators. Sara and Ranmaru decide to call everyone into the elevator room so they can proceed to the next floor together. In the locker room, Hayasaka accidentally activates a trap and he gets stuck to the ceiling, suffocating, as if being hanged. Eventually, Gin runs into the room to try and save him, but gets stuck to the ceiling as well. The trap is deactivated by Midori, who claims it was an execution he didn't intend to use; it just malfunctioned. Keiji tells Midori that Gin is unconscious. Midori seems delighted by it, saying he is glad to be able to "play plenty more." Ranmaru doesn't believe Midori, saying Midori wants the Dummies dead. Hayasaka carries Gin, as suggested by Keiji.

Everyone heads to the elevators and make way for the fifth floor. Upon arriving, they find a map of the floor and a note from Midori telling the others that he's bored and wants the others to come and meet him soon on the ground.

The two available rooms is another white room with lockers and a classroom. At the sight of the white room, Shunsuke panics and hides behind the others. There are a few noticeable differences between this room and the locker room on the fourth floor; all the lockers are closed, on the shelves sit a voice recorder and a transceiver. The voice recorder announces that the First Trial is beginning and that the participant will have five minutes to escape, lest they face death. It explains that they are not alone and their fate is tied to a person they cannot see, but if the participant is fine with refusing said connection and betraying the person, they will leave the trial safely. Keiji suggests that, if they had the other transceiver, they could communicate. Mai grabs and speaks into the transceiver only for Midori to reply, spooking her and revealing that the other one is in his hands.

The classroom is similar to Sara and Joe's. On a desk sits Sara's bag. Ranmaru rummages through the bag and finds a small dog keychain, a replica of Joe's. If Kanna is alive, Keiji will ask Ranmaru to give him the keychain, but Sara reassures him that she's fine and states that it's a memento of her best friend. If Shin is alive, Sara will not be able to argue with Keiji since she does not remember Joe. Either way, Ranmaru will reveal that he knows of Joe, although he tells Sara he's only heard a little bit. If Sara tries to give Ranmaru the keychain, he doesn't accept it. If Sara tries to give Keiji the keychain, he pauses before accepting it. There is also a slip of paper on the blackboard labeled as a consent form, causing Alice/Reko, Kanna/Shin, Keiji, and Q-taro to panic slightly, contemplating where they had seen the paper before. They don't remember what the paper was for, but do remember signing their names.

In another room is a police box and a police vehicle. Inside the vehicle is a license that Keiji recognizes. Keiji then informs the others that the place of memories for him would be this place. He then elaborates on his memories, going back to a time where he got into a fight.

A policeman came and asked if he was alright. The younger Keiji referred to him as an old geezer, prompting the policeman to ask to be called Mr. Policeman. Keiji then lied and claimed that he simply tripped, but the policeman informed him that he saw the whole thing and knows that Keiji got into a fight. He then asks Keiji to stop by the police box, stating that they have tasty coffee. Keiji talks to the police officer about why he got into a fight, stating his bullies were making fun of him. The policeman informs him that what he did wasn't correct, confusing the small boy who claimed to be in the right, to which the policeman says that the more right he was, the less reason he had to fight. Keiji tries to defend himself by asking the policeman if the police too, don't use violence sometimes to get people in line. Mr. Policeman figures out that Keiji wants to be a policeman when he grows up. He gives Keiji his safe-birth-good-luck charm, explaining that he will be a father soon and tells Keiji to return it to him when he becomes a policeman.

So then when there done searching the police box, They go to a office and Hayasaka is famiar with it. They also see there only on computer on but when they check what is the in the page that's open they see that it's Sara's infomation on her height, weight and mostly everything everyone gets neverous but since Hayasaka is familar with this office Sara Press him into telling Her. Hayasaka just says that he did want to research it then said that its because of the company he works for he said they get personal information of everyone also since he works that job he meet someone called Asunaro yet what he didnt know as that that company is a shady one yet he didnt just give sara's information to the compay he gave everyone info to him of even the dolls. When Kurumada was about to beat up Hayasaka,Gin woke up,So Kurumada didn't beat up Hayasaka. Then while Q-taro help gin with his head Keiji said that Gin was foned to Hayasaka yet Hayasaka didn't quiet believe Keiji because of how Gin calls him "suit-and-specs".

Keiji said that maybe more because of that since Hayasaka wasn't the only one they met with a suit and glasses Gin met Professor Mishima and after that they were very close they search together. Until he died with his collar,He still doesn't know where his head is. So that was Gin's first time seeing someone so close to him die before his eyes. So Gin is trying to get close to Hayasaka even though he's not human.

Then they went to the next room which was the libary room but Midori/Sou wasn't there so Sara thought that there was somewhere they didn't go cause floor 4 and floor 5 has the same layout yetin floor 5 had no room in the center so that hidden roo has to be in the libary since that last room they searched. When to the room it looked like a security room they was a computer that said Coffin Control System also said It was Blue for Human, Red for dolls, Yellow for Vacant.

Like a normal Security room its has a footage of all the rooms, a microphone, and bunch of nobs yet midori like his collar in the desk so sara took. Then 1 of the left computers turned red then Sou face showed up ofc since he's an AI he know nothing about the participants or the death game so he introduced himself in his real name Shin. Since he knew nothing about whats happening there was only two question sara could ask info on Midori or about Shin/Himslef. Let say to know about Midori/Sou, Shin calls him a scary friend because when shin was in high school he got so Nervous when he looked at Sou dead eyes yet Sou enojoyed seeing him like that, Yet Sou was never a student in his school. Then Midori Rudely intrupeted then AI Shin turned off and Midori wanted his collar back since either way they cant use it to take off there since his is very different from the participants.

Then Midori ask if there were ready to fight but Sara thought of another way so Midori ask for a game of tag he took something out and Sara's collar shined red so it means she's it when the hour finishes then the it will die. They head to the libary to chase him down but they hear a loud sounds like an smartphone and a Alarmclock then books come flying out of nowhere and they were trying to attack. When there done with the Obstructors. Sara collar tighten, Kanna tries to safe Sara by being it but Keiji doesnt allow it so he becomes the "it". Then everyone goes and splits up to look for Midori.

In the Police box keiji is searching there yet he says if there were anybook to get since he has a hunch that it might be a puzzle to another hidden room so sara and Ranmaru find all the books they go back to the libary to put them in there spot then the celing opens and bookcase stairs show up they head to the hidden room and they find midori just waiting then while almost everyone is coming he says he cant really play since he doesn't have a collar. They see that Mai and Q-taro aren't there so keiji perdicts that the dummies have a mission to kill their master. So they run to the Security room and Gin tells sara to see the footage in the grave room they see Mia literally backstabbing Q-taro. When they go to the cemetery they see q-taro on his knees and Mai fainted/Shut down. Q-taro starts saying that they down need to kill to win they could work with them and become real allie.

Then Keiji says they were going to go back to find midori he comes in with a spare collar and since he had a gun he passes it to Keiji, Keiji got so Nervous cause that was the same gun he killed his childhood police officer. Keiji fell to his knees and then its shows a memorie of him Being a police in training a co-woker told Keiji that his boss Megumi fired the police officer cause he was trying to exposes a dark secret but then one day the police say that there was a crimal armed with a gun and then another "police officer" said that he was going to shot so that when keiji shot him and when he saw who it was he was so sad cause it was his childhood hero. The Police officer that was there was indeed Midori cause the "Crimal" wasnt even armed.

Keiji just Snapped and said that he was going to kill Midori, Midori just laughed and said lets play one the greatest of stage. He we can say he turn on the lights and says This is the Graveyard for broken dolls! when the fight end and keiji tags Midori, Midoti says that he can show him a doll of his childhood hero that he is below keiji feet when keiji looks down he see him but the same dead way he looked Keiji was shocked so Midori pushed Keiji into his coffien and told sara that that he can burn Keiji in that coffien yet he gave sara a his wish and a way to save Keiji by sara signing her name in the Consent Form, So what will it be Miss Sara sign the form or let keiji die its up to you miss Sara and chapte 3 part one ends in a cliffhanger
