this is a bit of history for the pokemon series. I suggest you go play the games they are really fun.
Pokemon started in 1996, so it is a 20 year old game. The first games were pokemon red and green version. The newest games are pokemon ultra sun and ultra moon. Throughout the years new pokemon have been added. Today there are 807 pokemon. One of my favorite things about gen 7 (the alolan islands) are alolan pokemon, which are alternative versions of already exsisting pokemon. Sadly in gen 6 (x and Y) they added hordes of pokemon, so you could find two shiny pokemon and have to K.O one.
