These lures may work well depending on where you live I am in New Hampshire and these lures work great here, these lures are mainly for bass but, that does not mean you're not going to catch other fish.
I will go through the top fishing lures for spring, summer, and fall, plus I will tell you the best way to fish the lure, and why they work well. I am also usualy fishing from a boat but theses lures should also work with bank fishing.
But this is just from my personal experience.

Spring lures

  1. Texas rigged Crawfish

Any crawfish will work great during the spring because the crawfish burrow down in the mud during winter so the bass can't get to them when they come out in the spring the bass eat them like crazy, that's why it's a great lure. If you don't know the Texas rig don't worry, there are plenty of videos on youtube about how you can rig a texas rig. You could also just use a jighead. You could fish it by dragging it along the bottom of the river or lake and bouncing it and stopping.

  3. Jig

For the same reason, jigs are also good to fish in the spring because they look very similar to crawfish. For a jig trailer, I suggest a crawfish-looking trailer like the bandito bug or California craw, as for the color I like either black and blue, or green pumpkin. You could fish this lure by letting it hit the bottom, then bouncing it up and down.

  5. Swimbait

A bluegill-colored swimbait is amazing for bass fishing during spring because the bluegill are always trying to eat the bass eggs which angers the bass, so the bass attack the bluegill. you could fish this by slowly reeling it in while making sure it hits the bottom, but not too much it might snag, and swimbaits can be costly.
